📖 "Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors", released in 1965, is an adaptation of the novella of the same name by Mykhailo Kotsiubynskyi.

❤️ The drama about the extraordinary love between Marichka and Ivan unfolds in the Carpathian Mountains, in the Hutsul region.

🌍 The film achieved worldwide fame and was shown at festivals in Venice, Locarno, Barcelona, New York and London.

🎥 "Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors" tops the list of the greatest Ukrainian films of all time.

📽️ The film will be screened with English subtitles.
